Near Cullinan, only 40 minutes from JHB International Airport…
Lots of riders have asked us to put this ride together again – so here goes…
We will mark the route (100 kay’s or so), arrive in the morning – we will have coffee and rusks ready to wake you up and get you going. We will work out the whole route for you to enjoy at your own pace – the farmers will once again open the lands to us.
Rocky sections, fast open plains, forested trails – it’s all there for you to enjoy.
Our team will be along to assist and take piccy’s. you can order a disc with all of the photo’s on the day.
When you get back, you can enjoy a lekker lunch – properly catered – not just a bun… and, if you feel like it, you can go and ride the routes all over again.
We will have marshals along to assist for the day and our Resolution Insurance medical team will be along for the day.
It’s going to be great fun, no long boring roads – but lots of tight, twisty sections for you to enjoy.

BIKE4BEASTS VENETIA - NOW IN ITS FOURTH YEAR!

Where: De Beers Venetia Limpopo Nature Reserve (VLNR) in northern Limpopo Province.
Distance: 65km

Then join us in Volksrust for the 3 Provinces Battlefield Trophy 2010
Be armed with a:
4x4 with low-range,
Driver with high-range
Navigator with no-range
A sense of adventure with long-range
Be prepared to do things out of the ordinary!
What is the big deal ?
Although a 4x4 is needed, don’t fear, this is not a 4x4 challenge, neither is it a time-trail or rally. It is something you haven’t done before.
During registration each team will receive a battle number under which they will operate for the duration of the event.
You will need all your navigational skills to follow a predetermined route. You will encounter 4x4 obstacles; you will visit battlefield sites and other interesting places which include a cave, an old railway tunnel and a museum.
Each day will take you along a different route and is expected to be around 120kms to 150kms of 4x4 track, private gravel road and public road.
Along the route there will be pit stops, where teams will have to complete fun and interesting tasks to earn points. These will include questionnaires, 4x4 skill tests, and other fun-filled challenges. For the more adventurous, the optional tasks might earn you bonus points (or at least entertainment for spectators!)
Teams’ skill (or lack thereof) and answers will be scored at each of the pit stops.

Off-Rhodes MTB Tour
Discover the Rhodes less travelled, on a fully supported 3 day mountain bike tour in the Eastern Cape highlands, from the 19th – 23rd March, organized by Active Escapes and Wild Mountain Adventures.
One can expect breathtaking passes, scenic farm tracks and thrilling descents amid sandstone batholiths, crystal clean streams and wild mountain territory.
This is as close as one gets to ‘Drakensberg Cycling’, with the luxury of daily vehicle support, comfy lodgings, experienced guides and sumptuous meals to look forward to. A paddle down the Kraai on our final day, provides a fitting end to this unique mountain bike tour.
With daily ride distances close on 50km the first two days, followed by a shorter third day, this tour is aimed at persons with previous MTB experience and a reasonable level of fitness, looking for a social experience in an exciting new environment
